Children will die because of Robert F. Kennedy Jr's discredited theories
My hero for many years was Robert F. Kennedy, who emerged from depression after the death of his President Kennedy, his brother, to become one of the most incredibly enlightened political figures of my time. During his brief Presidential campaign in the spring of 1968, he made it clear he intended to not only stop the Vietnam War, but continue the mission of the Great Society to help the poor.
He was totally committed to civil rights, and spoke sincerely about “making gentle the life of this world.” My guess is that despite the odds, he would have been nominated and elected. But then a crazy Palestinian terrorist (the first one most of us had heard of) murdered him the night he won the California primary.

Today, I still revere who RFK was. But I also think that anyone who has 11 young children should not be running for President. It’s common knowledge that many of them (not all) have made bad choices in life. I spent a few hours with RFK Jr. more than 20 years ago, talking about his river keepers project, and was impressed.
I did not then know about his heroin addict and drug pusher days, among other things he has done. But in the last few years, RFK Jr. has revealed himself to be essentially insane, and filled with dangerous and discredited ideas, such as that vaccines cause autism.
And then, striking perhaps his most outrageous blow against the well-being of the American people, Donald Trump made this monster Secretary of Health and Human Services, where he is busily waging war in so many ways against our health.
One of those ways, of course, is his vaccine lies. Fortunately, sane states with decent governors are fighting back against it, telling citizens, as in Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s press release below, to ignore the garbage and get vaccinated.
Some won’t listen, of course, and some will think they should listen to this malevolent jackass without a scintilla of medical knowledge. Some day (I hope) some yet unborn historian will look at this era and be able to explain, as they have for other epochs of mass hysteria, just what the hell was wrong with us.

MDHHS continues to recommend COVID-19
vaccination for everyone 6 months and older
LANSING, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) continues to recommend, in alignment with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the COVID-19 vaccine during pregnancy, and for every person 6 months and older to protect from serious illness.
Recently the Health and Human Service (HHS) director issued guidance to change COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for healthy children and pregnant persons. However, the COVID-19 vaccine remains safe during pregnancy, and vaccination can protect children, women and their infants after birth. Maternal vaccination during pregnancy can reduce the risk of COVID-19-related hospitalization for infants by more than half during the first three months of life.
“There is strong evidence that supports COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy and for pediatric patients,” said Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian, chief medical executive. “Recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that children under 6 months of age are at the highest risk for hospitalization, and that more than 40% of those hospitalized had no underlying conditions. The COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to prevent complications of infection. We urge Michigan residents talk to their health care providers about getting vaccinated.”
MDHHS continually reviews evidence on new and existing vaccines. This evidence overwhelmingly demonstrates that vaccines are safe and have saved millions of lives and prevented tens of millions of hospitalizations in the US over the past 30 years. The 2023–2024 vaccine reduced the risk of COVID-19-associated emergency room and urgent care visits by 65-70% for children in the first two months after vaccination.
The COVID-19 vaccine was approved following rigorous testing and safety review processes, including clinical trials and review by medical experts. It continues to be tested in large clinical trials to ensure it meets established safety standards. The vaccine also received medical and safety review and authorization from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the CDC director. Following national approval, MDHHS reviews all FDA and CDC recommendations to provide clinical guidance to Michigan providers and the public.
COVID-19 continues to cause illness, hospitalization and death, and the vaccine continues to be an important tool in preventing severe illness and death. To protect and promote the health and safety of all residents, we encourage everyone to stay up to date on all vaccinations.

You wonder about the psychology of the heir of such a bloodline. How desperate for attention and authority does someone have to be to potentially send millions to their death? He has exploited his name and made a deal with the devil. What happens when the show comes to a tragic end and the players turn on him? Maybe that simply isn't what matters if you're the son of a heroic figure and haven't found any peace. It would make for good theatre if it wasn't real.
In fact if you add the case of the mishandling of the Pandemic during trump 1 and now this we can replay There Will Be Blood and DST has blood on his hands. That is what historians will disclose. Hopefully truth will survive. People will die and drinking bleach wont save them. But we all have short memories.
