Born in 1962,I don’t think of myself as a boomer. But my fellow retired friend Dave joined me the other day at MacDonalds for my very first 50 cent cup of senior citizen coffee (free refills 30 minute’s, no loitering)

We were traumatized with AIDS as well. It was horrific to see friends too young, die so painfully soon. We didn’t have a silver spoon. Times we easier though in the long run. We didn’t have to worry about someone with a gun killing our classroom’s-

Everything changes.

Thank you for mentioning that later Boomers don't really identify as Boomers. I was born in 63' and have always identified with Gen X. Though not talked about much, Generation Jones is a newer label for folks like me. Great article!
