This Cannot Last
We simply can't endure another three years of this.
When America reelected Donald Trump in November, 2024, I knew that what was going to happen would be worse than in his first term, for the country and for the world. But even I did not dream it would be this bad.
In less than a year, Trump and his neo-fascist fanatics have poisoned our relations with nearly every other country on the planet. He has kidnapped the leader of Venezuela and announced his intention to run it as a puppet state, signaled his desire to annex Greenland, by military force if necessary, and threatened war with Iran.
He’s even talked about sending U.S. troops into Mexico to attack fentanyl producers.
Worst of all, he and the unspeakable Kristi Noem, puppy murderer, are establishing what Robert Reich correctly calls an American Gestapo, 20,000 thugs, aka ICE agents, one of whom brutally murdered a 37-year-old white mother of three and lied about it. Trump and Noem lied about it too, despite video evidence proving that they lied.
I mention that Renee Nicole Good was white just to illustrate that if they can kill her in broad daylight, they clearly think they can kill anybody.
There’s lots more they’ve done and are doing that I could list, including tearing down a major part of the White House, but that’s enough to make my point.
This monster needs to be removed from office before he destroys the entire country, and possibly the world. Somehow, we must demand his flunkies act, under the terms of the 25th Amendment. I know that no one wants JD Vance in the White House, but he wouldn’t have the hypnotic sway over the millions of MAGA zombies that Trump does. Vance as president with a solidly Democratic congress should be survivable.
This isn’t.
You owe it to yourself to do everything you can, not only to nominate and elect good people in November, but demand an end to Trump’s reign of terror and error now. That’s especially true if you have children or grandchildren.
Demand that overcautious, complacent establishment fools like Hakeem Jefferies and Chuck Schumer start to speak out forcefully and really lead.
Otherwise… well, at some point, it really will be too late.

I would much rather prefer they remove him and the entire cabinet via Article II Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution. Emoluments violations alone should allow for it. I don't know about the country, but I do know I won't make it another three years.
Having PTSD is an interesting thing. It means it becomes far easier to experience trauma again, and after seeing what ICE has been doing, I'm finding myself crying and trembling against my will. Thankfully, it does not impede my resolve to fight this regime with everything I've got. It just makes it a lot more difficult to leave my apartment.
I can care as much with no children or grandchildren, because good humans must.
